Handyman in Detroit, MI
Detroit is home base. EcoSavvy Handyman LLC is run by Meco out of northwest Detroit, ZIP 48235, and takes on repair and improvement jobs all over the city, from patching drywall to working through a landlord's turnover list.
Homeowners, renters, and landlords
Most Detroit jobs start with a short list: a wall that needs patching, a door that won't latch, a TV that needs to go on the wall, or a unit that has to be ready for the next tenant. Because it's one person doing the work, the person you talk to about the job is the person who shows up to do it.
Hours: Monday–Saturday, 8 AM–6 PM. Closed Sunday.
Phone: (313) 918-5579
Based in northwest Detroit (48235). Wayne County is part of our service area.

Around Detroit
Detroit is a big city, and most of our work stays on the west and northwest side close to home: neighborhoods like Rosedale Park, Grandmont, Brightmoor, Bagley, Sherwood Forest, Palmer Woods, and the University District near Livernois and McNichols. We also take jobs farther in, including Midtown, Corktown, and the east side, when the schedule allows.
A lot of Detroit housing is older brick and wood-frame homes and two-flats, so plaster and drywall patching, sticking doors, worn trim, and rental turnovers between tenants come up often.
Getting around Detroit from 48235
We're already in the city. From 48235, the Southfield Freeway (M-39), the Lodge (M-10), I-96, and 8 Mile get us across the west side quickly; downtown and the east side are a longer trip, roughly 10+ miles, so it helps to group several repairs into one visit.
How It Works
Three steps from request to repair:
- Snap a few photos of the job and send them with your request in the estimate app.
- You'll hear back from Meco to go over the scope and the estimate.
- Then we set a visit time together. Requests aren't confirmed bookings until we agree on a time.
